{"id":591,"date":"2016-08-18T18:58:25","date_gmt":"2016-08-18T22:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thehopenet.org\/blog\/?p=591"},"modified":"2020-08-27T10:07:28","modified_gmt":"2020-08-27T14:07:28","slug":"update-on-peters-mri-focused-ultrasound-journey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thehopenet.org\/blog2\/update-on-peters-mri-focused-ultrasound-journey\/","title":{"rendered":"Peter&#8217;s MRI Focused Ultrasound Journey (Update)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 12th, I participated in a conference call with Susan Klees, Director of Communications for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fusfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FUS Foundation<\/a>, and Bill Reifenberger of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silverthornfilms.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" class=\"broken_link\">Silverthorn Films<\/a>. \u00a0The purpose of the call was to set a time and date for Bill and his team to interview and film me prior to the August 24<sup>th<\/sup> procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, Bill and his team came to my house on August 15th and\u00a0spent most of the\u00a0day. \u00a0Bill did the directing and interviewing, while Kai Crowe-Getty did all the filming. \u00a0I felt all the questions that Bill asked were relevant and encompassing.<\/p>\n<p>They then filmed me doing various things &#8211; sticking both hands out, writing a couple of sentences, dialing a cell phone, making and drinking a cup of tea, using a key to lock and unlock a door, and walking outdoors.
